Unreal (or More Real)

I am excited to serve at TECH and have the opportunity to be a part of God's plan for sharing the light of the Gospel around the World. When the Lord opened the door for me to study architecture 20 years ago, I did not know what He had in store. I am thankful for TECH and the opportunity to use these skills to serve the Church directly.

Besides that though, I am grateful that TECH as an organization is committed to providing those who serve at TECH with the tools and equipment we need. They do not shy away from moving beyond how we've always done things to serve our sister ministries better. From computers, to plotters, to software we are open to and looking for ways to improve.

One of the tools we provide the ministries we serve are 3D renderings and animations for their proposed building campaigns. Many people have difficulty reading and understanding 2D drawings. The 3D images we are able to provide are invaluable to the ministry as they cast the vision God has given them.

Over the last three years, I have completed 20 or more of these renderings. Increasingly, however, we are requested to provide not just still images but animations. The software we have historically used was not a great platform for creating these videos. To meet this need, we recently started using Twinmotion, a real-time rendering platform based on the Unreal Engine (a game building platform). With this new tool we are not only able create more realistic scenes but do so in a fraction of the time. I have included two short test renders I did for a project we worked on for Bread for Life International in Cameroon (https://breadforlife.org/). We are excited about how this tool will be used to bless those whom we serve.

To use this software to its fullest capacity we need to update the computer I use. The total for the new machine will be around $2,000. Would you consider partnering with TECH in helping us meet this need?
