I think you all have figured out that Eric went to school and graduated with a Masters degree in architecture from Judson University near Chicago. I'll let him tell you how he ended up there...it is a good story!
I have never been on campus at Judson until this March. We we're traveling to see family in Wisconsin and made a point to detour. It is a beautiful campus and we had a nice visit with the alumni office before touring the architecture studio.
It was so much fun to see Eric in his element! He stopped at many of the projects around the room and explained to us what he thought the assignment was and what the student was trying to express.
As Eric said many times as we walked the building (a newer one than when he was a student), everything had changed and everything is the same! Many of the projects look similar to how Eric learned. The desks are the same (or very close). Eric even found an old poster from a trip he went on while at school mixed in with newer posters! After all the years of hearing about his time at Judson, it was great to get such a vivid picture of Eric, the student! For Eric, it was a vivid reminder of how far he has come.
