Ever feel like you are playing catch up? The past few months have been more busy than I would like. We are feeling behind already and the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons are not even upon us. Please pray for us! However, we have some serious caching up to do. Lets start with the first day of school. Like I said, we're running behind!
The old adage says that time flies when you are having fun. That seems most true with kids. While they may complain about an hour being a "looooooooong time", from a parents perspective this summer vanished in a blink. It seems just yesterday we were wondering how to use the summer well and now they are fully back in the swing of another school year.
This year, all the children will have some time at school. Liam has started 2nd grade. Hannah and Ranen will go two days a week to a local Mothers Day Out program. They all love going to see their friends and to learn new things. Liam always seems very excited for a new day when we drop him off. Hannah and Ranen, without hardly a hug goodbye, sprint to their rooms to greet the new day.
We are so thankful that, at least in this stage
of life, they enjoy learning and school.
