Perfectly Imperfect

Eric and I recently celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary! Looking back at the last decade, there are a few things that are clear.

First, I am a much better person with Eric! He is an amazing support and partner. My family will attest to my temper levelling out (some anyway). I certainly have much more growth ahead but Eric reminds me that I am loved where I am at, not just where I will be. For all the things I was looking for in a husband, he exceeds them all! I am truly blessed!

Second, I wouldn't trade our life. Something we don't talk about much is the stress that comes with being missionaries. But God has blessed and provided for our family in more ways than I expected. The grace and mercy we receive far outweighs the cost for us. It has been a great adventure!

Finally (at least for now), there are a few things I count as stregnths that I didn't before I married Eric. I have always known that I have a great laugh but I didn't realize how contagious my laugh can be! Also, I am more organized now then I was then. It may not be saying much but I'll take whatever progress I can count! And I have more confidence in who I am and my abilities. I'm sure that maturity has something to do with these but Eric is great at pointing out how God is working in our lives.

I have so much to be thankful for but I'll keep it simple and just say, God knew what He was doing when He crossed our paths!
