Every year we try to make stops along the way that we think will be fun, both for us and the kids. We love trying to find opportunities to build memories!
We visited a wonderful place in Denver called the Butterfly Pavilion. The girls held a tarantula named Rosie. We also saw other spiders and insects on display including a bee hive. We got to walk through a wonderful terrarium full of butterflies! It was really interesting to learn and explore!
We visited the Milwaukee Art Museum. This one was really for Eric. He has wanted to visit this building for 20 years! We all enjoyed the architecture, the art, and watching the Brise Soleil close and open.
A neighbor of Katie's sister invited the family to watch 4th of July fireworks from her pontoon. It was beautiful!
We watched the local minor league baseball team win a game. The theme of the night was Christmas in July. The kids got to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus.
We had the oppoturnity to visit a zoo in Madison. The weather was beautiful and it was fun to see all the animals. Most of us hadn’t seen a porcupine before!
