Round 2

It hit us again! This is our second round this year with a nasty stomach bug making it's way through our area. Last time, Eric was spared but he wasn't as lucky this time. 

We have all been cooped up for over 3 days (in a house of extroverts) and we aren't done. We have upped the amounts of showers and laundry all around and banned all sharing.

So as I sit here late this evening waiting for dinner to be ready even though I'm not really hungry but I know I have to eat something, I've been thinking. God is good. 

I know it is a silly thing to have to remind myself of. I mean, we're sick, not at death's door. But after being sick and taking care of the kids and trying to clean so we don't start a third round, I have to stop and remember that God is good. He knows what I need and He has set provisions for all of it before I ever knew I needed it. Including that I would be worst yesterday and Eric would wait until today to succumb. 

God is good. Even on day 3 of a sick household of extroverts. Sleep well and may God keep you well...or at least let you take turns!

P.S.- It took me every minute of the last 3 days to get to this place!
