The Big Trip: Day 10 & 11

Day 10 was a slightly slower day for us. In the morning, we visited a local park in Colorado Springs. There were lots of kids for ours to play with and get wiggles out. After the park was one of Eric’s favorite restaurants in Colorado: Salsa Latina! He was able to get a smothered pork burrito that, despite living in Texas where there is Tex-Mex food aplenty, still makes him smile. Next we had a sweet time visiting with one of our favorite supporters, Eric’s grandparents. We love seeing them and hearing about their lives. They were in the ministry field as well and are very caring for us and the ministry. And they love getting hugs from some of their great grandchildren! The next day was one of our busiest in Colorado. We met with a local pastor for lunch. Eric is helping with some master planning options and was able to touch base. Then Eric visited another local church that is looking into the possibility of working with TECH. He was able to meet with some of the church members and the pastor to answer a few questions about what they want and how TECH might be able to help them. That night, we were able to meet with a friend from Texas who lives in the area now. He loves games and always does a great job picking out fun new games for us to try. It was a wonderful way to catch up and hear what God has been up to in his life as well as share some about TECH Team.
